Several years ago, I began painting dogs and other animals, and have been doing so with immense pleasure ever since. My paintings are not copies of photographs, however, but products of my imagination that, intend nonetheless to represent the animal's true nature. You can see a sample of my portraits in the Gallery section.
Many of my works involve more than just the animal, and may include, if desired, his environment and possibly other things as well.
I can work from photographs, but they must be clear, show the animal in several positions and give good representations of his head and his face. The environment will also have to be well photographed, or I can rely on my own imagination to provide a background.

If you are interested in having me to do a painting for you, after discussing the project with you, I will make a few rough sketches of my ideas and send them to you.

The rough sketches must be paid for in advance (€400.00), but this amount will be deducted from the final price of the canvas if a proposal is agreed to. See prices, which are based on zie. If a picture larger than cm 30x40 is requested, 30% of the total price will have to be paid beforehand, in addition to the fee for the rough proposal.

As you can see from my resume, i am skilled in many techniques, but at present I am working only with oil on canvas.
